Some Facts About Me

> I am a Born Again Christian. I am four years old in my spiritual journey. I received Jesus as my savior and lord one fine afternoon in our home sometime in 2012. It was my sister, Bhim, whom God used to open doors for me to experience Jesus. Being the religious girl that I once before, it usually shocks people when I tell them (or them asking) about my new found faith. Their initial reaction is, "Oh so were you converted?" My answer is, "Yes I am converted, but it's more than just a physical conversion. It's not even religion. It is a heart conversion." I love how this verse explains so well:

When anyone is in Christ, it is a whole new world. The old things are gone; suddenly, everything is new. - 2 Corinthians 5:17 ERV

When I made my decision that day to follow Jesus, I died to my old self and I was BORN AGAIN. It was a fresh start once more!

> I am married to my husband for six years. He was my only boyfriend. I was his only girlfriend. We were college sweethearts. He was a college heartthrob. He bagged a first-runner-up title in the most prestigious pageant in our university when he was 17. (wait, this is suppose to be about me and not him..haha) However, his family migrated in the U.S in 2005, so from that year until 2013, we were in a long distance relationship. That was one moment in my life where I will never ever wish to go back again.

> My very first professional salary was 2500 pesos. That's about $55 that I worked hard for 2-3 weeks.

> I have a calling for teaching and this is one thing I really miss in the Philippines. However, this calling is still put to good use because I am raising a son, and there's another one coming. As of today, I am 9-weeks and 4 days pregnant with baby number 2.

> I just recently weaned my son, Elijah from breastfeeding. I had to because I am pregnant. I love breastfeeding! I was pumping milk during his first 4 months, alternating my breasts and his bottle (with breastmilk), primarily so I could rest. However, Elijah liked my breasts more than the nipple bottle so he was weaned early from bottle. I love that I do not need to wash bottles too or get up in the evening and of course, my husband's favorite--we saved a lot of moolah.

> I am a full time homemaker! It gives me so much joy taking care of my family and see it grow. Being a homemaker taught me how to appreciate and respect my husband more because he is really working hard to stand up for his family.

> Elijah likes it when I sing. hahaha..His favorites are Jesus loves me and a bunch of songs from Veggietales.

> I am into healthy lifestyle. I work out thrice a week, only for 20-25 minutes and make sure to prepare wholesome food for me and my family. However, with all the hormones brought about by my second pregnancy, I am slacking off usual diet. Hello sweet and salty food!!!

> I am a clean freak, but I'm learning to let go of it because I have a toddler who explores everything!! At the end of the day, I still make sure to keep everything organized. This is one reason why I do not want a huge house. The thought of big, beautiful houses are always nice, but it just won't work for me--for many reasons, and my husband agrees. Today, we live in an 825 sq.ft apartment. We are praying for our own home soon but still embracing the small living. Simple living, less worries, more freedom.
