OOTD: Two outfits, one fabric

This was what I wore last December 18 in our annual faculty Christmas party. I know I promised before that I will never make clothes again the day before its official use, but it seems like I've eaten what I said. Oh no, not again!
I have a good reason for this anyway. I volunteered to make the outfit of my friend, Gail so I used all the energy I had. In the end, my body's already shutting down so I decided to just make a column dress for myself.

Isn't she gorgeous? Photo credits from our talented colleague, Sir Jayvee.
Then yesterday, my friend, Katrine whom I met at the fashion school got married. Since I'm taking my goal seriously this year, which is to simplify things and that includes limiting myself into unnecessary shopping, I snatched this gray charmeuse column dress and turned it into a skirt. I paired it with a beige, floral embossed peplum top which I got from Forever 21. I feel conservative and comfortable in this "manang" look.

My cutesy sister and best friend made me up again! I'm her first official client. Book her na while still mura.

Some beautiful details from an equally beautiful wedding.
A vintage Jaguar for the bride's car.
I was delighted to see the French inspired (or so I thought) reception at Palacio De Maynila. I loooove it!
It's also nice to see other friends from fashion school. I am with talented people. Gorgeous sisters, Twinkle and Queencie of  Daughters5 (watch out for them on PGT season 3), and the always fasyon, Austeen who looks dapper in his suit.
