The Best Muffin!

I've done my reviews online about the best places to eat in Boracay, both meals and desserts. My favorite blogs raved about this muffin. I'm not a muffin person, but the blogs got me with their "Never leave Boracay without tasting this muffin."  They're talking about this calamansi (Philippine lemon) muffin of Real Coffee and Tea Cafe. It's located at station 1, but make sure to walk slowly since it's situated in an alley. You might miss it. The resto is cozy with its nipa roof and wooden interiors.
We had a taste test in our first visit and ordered 1 calamansi, banana and ultimate muffins. (calamansi and banana at Php45, ultimate at Php65). The verdict?!?
The banana and ultimate muffins have the usual taste. You know what to expect.
I was actually scared before sinking my teeth into this. Because, really, who will put calamansi into a sweetened piece of bread? The muffin was warm when served. I literally tasted the flour and egg, then the citrus flavor surfaced. Gosh, ang sarap!!! It was refreshing, I didn't want to swallow it. haha
I like that they use brown paper for their packaging. You can also have it  boxed but advance order is required.
Real Coffee, located at Station 1..So friends, ehem ehem, you know what to bring me home when you're bound to Boracay.  :)
